What It Really Means (in Plain English): Before we get into the serious stuff, we just want to make sure we're all speaking the same language. So when we say things like “Service,” “We,” “You,” or “Personal Data,” we’re not being fancy, we’re just being clear. This section is like the glossary at the start of a board game: it tells you what the key terms mean so there’s no confusion later when we talk about how we handle your data. Think of it as the cheat sheet that keeps the legal mumbo jumbo from turning into a game of “what the heck does that mean?”
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:
- Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named License Geek
- Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to License Geek, LLC, 400 N Ashley Dr #1900, Tampa, FL 33602.
- Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
- Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
- Service refers to the Application or the Website or both.
- Website refers to License Geek, accessible from https://licensegeek.com
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Your Order Cancellation Rights
What It Really Means (in Plain English): Changed your mind? No worries, we get it. You’ve got 30 days to cancel your order and get your money back, no guilt trips, no awkward questions. Just let us know in writing (email counts!) and don’t ghost us. Basically, if License Geek isn’t the licensing wizard you were hoping for, we won’t hold your money hostage. Pinky promise.
Try License Geek for 30 Days, with full access to all features of our platform and experience firsthand how easy license management can be. No Strings Attached – There are no hidden fees. You can cancel anytime within the first 30 days of your initial onboarding if you’re not completely satisfied.
The deadline for cancelling an Order is the 30th calendar day from the earliest date of:
- Date of first tenant sign-up
- Date in which Your purchase was authorized
- Date You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.
In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement.

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any return, restocking or fees for such reimbursement from License Geek. Foreign currency transactions are subject to current currency conversion rates and may not be the same amount paid.
Conditions for Return
What It Really Means (in Plain English): If you’re not happy, we’re not happy. But before you ask for a refund, there are just a few ground rules. Basically, don’t try to game the system. If you actually used the service, got value, or waited way too long to speak up, we might raise an eyebrow. But if you genuinely gave it a shot and still feel like it missed the mark, we’ve got your back. Just don’t ghost us. Talk to us first, and we’ll do our best to make it right.
In order for the Goods to be eligible for the 30-day satisfaction guarantee, please make sure that:
- The Goods were purchased in the last 30 days
The following Goods cannot be returned:
- The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or an agreement for upcoming customization for your benefit.
- The supply of Goods which had professional services engagement for upcoming feature release.
We reserve the right to refuse returns of any Goods that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.
Only regular priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, discounted Goods cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.
